HostVentures ends search to round out Executive leadership. Hires Software Industry Veteran Tim O'Rourke, formerly VP Sales at Parallels (SWsoft & Plesk).
August 13, 2008 -- HostVentures announces that its search for a Chief Operating Officer to lead the team's sales, marketing and operations is complete with the placement of Tim O'Rourke, a veteran of Northern Virginia and DC technology startups focused on internet related software and services. O'Rourke was most recently a Vice President of Sales focused on strategic accounts at Parallels, where his team managed key accounts and launched the OSS/BSS , Data Center Automation and SaaS platforms. Prior to Parallels (formerly SWsoft), Mr. O'Rourke was Vice President of Sales and Operations for Plesk that was later acquired by SWsoft. Previously, O'Rourke has been responsible for several successful business turn arounds in IT and manufacturing. O'Rourke holds a BS in Chemical and Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
